On May 1, 2024, AZ State Sen. Anthony Kern made a guest appearance on the Rumble show of Stew Peters. Peters is a Holocaust denier and Nazi sympathizer with a history of violent, racist, anti-LGBTQ, and antisemitic rhetoric. Kern, who was recently indicted for his role in Donald Trump’s fake electors plot, claimed that God was “raising up” Trump and Peters.

Peters invited Kern on to fearmonger about a drag story hour that was held in the Arizona House basement. Kern complained that he was criticized for leading a prayer group and speaking in tongues on the floor of the state Senate while no one was criticizing a drag story hour.

“So I led a prayer group down at the capitol. Somebody filmed it. Somebody tweeted it out. It — the nation and the media went berserk,” Kern said.

“MSNBC’s Joy Reid even put out a statement how, you know, how this was just — you know, she’s a ‘Christian,’ but not in the state Senate. That’s kept in a church. While at the same time they can allow pedophiles, they can allow perverts, they can allow men dressed up as women, and just a perv show in the basement of our representatives, and nothing from the media.”

When Peters asked Kern what type of “remedy” would fix America’s problems, Kern called on America’s churches to “rise up, quit being intimidated by the media, by the Marxist Left, by the woke ideology that’s out there.” He also claimed that Trump had been “appointed” by God, and called for a “moral awakening” because, he said, in the Bible “there are moral absolutes.”

“This thing about what’s right for you is not necessarily right for me? That — no, no. There are absolutes,” Kern said. “In the Bible, which is what this nation was founded on, there are moral absolutes. Life is life. Marriage between one man and one woman. You know, family. Country. You know, protecting — men fight. Okay? Teach my hands to war and my fingers for battle.”

Toward the end of the interview, Kern told Peters that God was “raising up” people like him and Donald Trump.

“And that’s why I believe God is raising up Donald Trump, and Anthony Kern, and Stew Peters, and people like us to shout — the Bible says cry loud and spare not,” he declared. “We cry loud. And we spare not. Righteousness exalts a nation, and only righteousness. We’ve gotta get the marriage thing right, we’ve gotta get the life thing right, we’ve gotta push back.”

Stew Peters: You were among the first people on the scene to expose the perverse activities of Arizona’s Democrats with the Republicans who let them run wild. I mean, are they with the pedophiles or are they really just ignorant?

Anthony Kern: Yeah. Thank you Stew for having me.

Stew Peters: Yeah.

Anthony Kern: You know, they’re definitely not with the pedophiles — the ones that I know. But I would say they are pretty blatantly ignorant. I got a call from a state senator, and I said “No, no, no, that’s not happening.” She says “You’ve gotta do somethin’ about it.” Not sure why she didn’t do somethin’ about it. But she called me. I looked at it. I saw that they were having — so this was about 9:55 yesterday — I saw that they were havin’ drag time — drag queen story hour — yesterday in the basement of the House of Representatives here in the capitol.

And I went ahead and posted that immediately on social media. I said “Hey Arizona, this is where your tax dollars are goin’.” And boom, it blew up. Ben Toma, about 25 minutes later, put out a statement saying that, you know, he didn’t know and they misled him. No. If he didn’t know, one, that does show incompetence. Two, they lied to him. This Lorena Austin is one of the most radicalized Democrats in the House of Representatives. And if she wants to reserve a conference room, you should ask what for. And that didn’t happen.

Two — three weeks ago Monday, Stew, I led a prayer group. And you can see it on social media. I led a prayer group here at the state Senate. We were praying in tongues around the state seal here on the Senate floor. Somebody — a Democrat who was in the gal[lery], which, I don’t care, they can tape it all they want. I’m a proud Christian conservative. I have a spine. I will fight tooth and nail for what’s right for this country. So I led a prayer group down at the capitol. Somebody filmed it. So it’s time for battle. This is our 1776 moment. Our Founders gave their lives, their fortunes, their sacred honor. We have got to rise up and get our country back. We have got to get a moral foundation back into our country. And I’ll leave it at that because I’m sure you have more questions and I’ve got a lot more to say. I could keep sayin’ it. But it’s time to have a spine. That’s why people resonate under President Trump, because he’s got a spine. He’s willin’ to fight back on this lobbyist uniparty thing that’s been running our country for years. And now look what that’s gotten us.

Stew Peters: Yeah, I mean, they’re compromised. They’re all blackmailed by foreign entities —

Anthony Kern: Yeah.

Stew Peters: — and foreign countries. It’s a complete joke. We don’t have a federal government. We have a murderous corporate crime syndicate. That’s what we have here.

Anthony Kern: Yeah.

Stew Peters: So what kind of remedy are you looking for in this particular case? I like what you’re saying. It is time. We’re out of time. We’re passed time. This country’s gonna go freaking dark. And I’m talkin’ about leaving our kids to imminent bloodbaths at the hands of these murderous pedophiles and tyrannical overlords that are run by foreign entities. What does actual remedy look like in your eyes, Senator?

Anthony Kern: Yeah, thank you. Thank you Stew. It’s all about money and power. [Okay], the Democrats will lie every step of the way for money and power. Republicans aren’t much different. So if the nation — now we need to vote. Everybody in your listening audience needs to vote. We need to get every Republican out to vote, okay? And that’s one thing. But the answer for America is a national awakening. The answer for America is for the churches in this country to rise up, quit being intimidated by the media, by the Marxist Left, by the woke ideology that’s out there, by the so-called racism that’s out there, by the so-called, you know, noise that all these lefties are making. Don’t let that scare you.

I believe America’s best days are ahead because these — because this stuff is being exposed. It was always there, Stew. It was always there. For 40, 50 years. This is nothing new. It was just hid. When Trump got in the office, if you read Isaiah Chapter 22, when Trump got in, which I think God put him — appointed him — he exposed all this. We knew for years that elections were being stolen. We knew for years that Republicans would say one thing and yet do another. And now Trump gets in, he exposes it, and now people are startin’ to rise up.

But we need — the answer for America is a moral awakening. Right from wrong. This thing about what’s right for you is not necessarily right for me? That — no, no. There are absolutes. In the Bible, which is what this nation was founded on, there are moral absolutes. Life is life. Marriage between one man and one woman. You know, family. Country. You know, protecting — men fight. Stew Peters: So if there is no political solution, what do the people do?

Anthony Kern: Well, number one like you just said, repent, turn back to God. Number two, do everything you can. If you flood the system with ballots — in Arizona, 360,000 Republicans did not vote in 2022. If they would’ve voted we would have a different make-up in our state government. So in Minnesota I am sure it is the same way. Everyone has got to participate. Again, the churches need to rise up. I’ll tell ya, Stew, I was indicted last week for bein’ a Trump elector by our Democrat attorney general. I was there on January 6 to hear my president — President Trump — speak on the nation’s capital with 2 million people. So I’ve had the FBI, the DOJ, and the attorney general — the Marxist attorney general — at my door, you know, indicting me for whatever.

And — so I’m in this battle. I get all of that. And I am 100% believe [sic] that the only hope for America is to turn back to Jesus Christ. But number two, you can’t just do that. You have got to get boots on the ground. Talk to your neighbors. Why isn’t your pastor talkin’ about things involving the country? Why aren’t the preachers going out and fighting like I am? You know, we’ve got to have everybody involved. It is a system — the media wants you to believe that you’re on the side that — the minority side. Not true. If you talk to your fellow people — the people that you work with, the people that you deal daily life with — those people are just like you and I. They are afraid. They want their country back. They don’t know what to do.

And that’s why I believe God is raising up Donald Trump, and Anthony Kern, and Stew Peters, and people like us to shout — the Bible says cry loud and spare not. We cry loud. And we spare not. Righteousness exalts a nation, and only righteousness. We’ve gotta get the marriage thing right, we’ve gotta get the life thing right, we’ve gotta push back.
