‘Wake Up, People! They’re Lying To You!’: White Nationalist Stew Peters Has An Antisemitic Meltdown

On The Stew Peters Show, a segment on receiving blood from vaccinated donors went off the rails after its host began ranting about Jews. During an interview with Infowars contributor Matt Baker, Peters went on an angry, antisemitic tirade about how “the Jews have infiltrated literally everywhere” and appeared to call for the assassination of government officials.

The show began with the white nationalist broadcaster fearmongering about blood donations from people who received the COVID-19 vaccination. Peters, who produced the anti-vax propaganda film Died Suddenly, falsely claimed that receiving blood from a vaccinated donor carries adverse health effects.

Donors who’ve received the COVID-19 vaccine are free to donate blood because it’s safe for transfusion. And receiving a blood transfusion from someone who is vaccinated does not transfer the vaccine. But right-wing figures such as Peters as ex-BlazeTV host Steven Crowder have spread false information about its safety.

“So, you’re not allowed to know whether or not you are getting jabbed or unjabbed blood,” he told his viewers. “But do you remember a couple of years ago when it was everybody’s business, including the media and the police, whether or not you had a vaccine? Your bodily autonomy at that point was everybody’s business.”

That, of course, was because COVID-19 is an infectious disease. But because vaccinations aren’t, the Red Cross doesn’t separate blood donations from vaccinated or unvaccinated donors.

Peters continued, claiming that receiving a blood transfusion is akin to “Russian roulette” or a “roll of the dice.”

“You can only hope that [donors] didn’t fall for the scam,” he said. “You can only hope they themselves didn’t inject themselves with a poison that’s going to sprinkle nanoparticles and nanotechnology and spike proteins and mRNA and graphene oxide all over your body and change your basic biological make-up.”

Peters called the COVID-19 vaccine a “bioweapon” and said that “putting it directly into your blood ought to be a capital punishable crime.” He also compared blood donated by vaccinated people to blood donated by gay men, whom he said are “riddled with diseases, well beyond HIV.”

Peters then introduced Matt Baker, a dreadlock-sporting conspiracy theorist who gained notoriety for screaming “Heil Fauci!” at a San Diego Board of Supervisors meeting. Baker was there to talk about how his wife experienced a medical emergency after receiving a blood transfusion, which he blamed on the vaccine.

But when Peters began talking about the origins of COVID-19, the conversation spiraled out of control.

Peters dismissed the natural origin theory of COVID-19, calling it “all fake.” Instead, he said, it was created “right here” in Ft. Detrick, MD and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill “under the supervision of Ralph Baric” — a virologist whom conspiracy theorists have blamed for COVID-19.

For this imagined crime, Peters said Baric “should be swinging from a noose somewhere.”

He added that there are other “bio weapons labs” in Ukraine — which he called a “fake country” that the U.S. is funding in order to “prop up a Jew,” referring to Volodymyr Zelensky. And he claimed that the real enemy is our “fake government” which “doesn’t want you to know if you’re getting a tainted blood supply.”

When Peters asked Baker if he agreed with his rant, Baker replied, “I heard ‘Jew’ in there somewhere. No, that was an incredible monologue. And I think you should definitely chop that one up and put it out. That was on fire.”

Peters said that “people need to understand we’re speaking plain English over here” and that “the Jews have infiltrated literally everywhere.” He claimed that there are “47 unelected Jews at the top of every bureaucracy” which decides “where we’re gonna go to war” and “how many millions of innocent children we’re gonna go ethnically cleanse and genocide in Gaza.”

And he mocked claims that Hamas staged the deadly Oct. 7, 2023 attack on Israelis that left around 1,200 dead.

“I mean, wake up, people!” he shouted. “They’re lying to you! They’re telling you that low IQ goat herders defeated the trillion dollar Iron Dome that you’ve been paying for for decades. Our greatest ally was defeated.”

Baker asked to “weigh in on this,” and initially said that he “can’t go around sayin’ ‘Jew, Jew, Jew’ all day long.”

“Yeah, you and Alex Jones both,” Peters shot back.

“But, nonetheless,” Baker replied, “I just got raised like ‘You’re a Nazi if you think this. You’re a Nazi if you think this.’ I’m dealing with cognitive dissonance. It’s very hard to deal with. You know? And I can’t blame the average guy. But the idea that they stood –“

“Wait, wait, wait, who’s the average guy?” Peters interrupted. “What average guy are you not blaming?”

“I mean an average Jewish person who’s just rolling around,” Baker explained. “I don’t think they’re in on this massive –“

Peters cut him off once more to complain that “this is how [Alex Jones] tried to pigeonhole” him during an Infowars appearance. “But [Jones] tried to say ‘Well, you’re saying that we should just nuke all the Jews? If we get rid of the Jewish people are we…’ No, no, no, that’s not what I’m saying,” he told Baker.

Peters clarified that he’s “saying that these people that call themselves Jewish” and “infiltrated and now occupy our government” are “evil people who worship Satan.” He added that they’re “not practicing Jews” and “hide behind the ‘Jewish’ label” in order to “nuke anybody off the Internet who dares question where all these people just happen to say that they’re from.”

Baker backed down and pivoted to another subject entirely: a picture he saw online depicting White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre and U.S. Assistant Secretary for Health Rachel Levine holding a pride flag. Baker said it was captioned with “What can stop this?” and asked if it said in the Talmud that there are “multiple genders.”

“I know what can stop it,” Peters said. “I know what can stop it at about 1,200 feet per second. I know what can stop all of this very quickly. Very quickly.”
