BlazeTV Host Alex Stein: ‘I’m Very Good Friends With Nick Fuentes’

On the Feb. 6, 2024 episode of Prime Time with Alex Stein, BlazeTV host Alex Stein spoke with misogynistic Internet personality Hannah Pearl Davis. During the interview, both Stein and Davis praised white nationalist Nick Fuentes. Stein referred to Fuentes, who recently performed a Nazi salute on a livestream, as a good friend of his.

Stein pointed out that one of Davis’ “most viral moments” last year was her interview with Piers Morgan. Davis appeared on Morgan’s show after she performed an antisemitic song titled “Why Can’t We Talk About the Jews?” The song was released after Fuentes appeared on Davis’ YouTube shows, where he denied the Holocaust and promoted his white supremacist beliefs.

“You have a mutual friend,” Stein said to Davis. “I’m very good friends with Nick Fuentes too. I get into a lot of trouble for associating with him and being his friend. Even though [Stein’s producer] Jimmy would say that he’s the reincarnation of Satan and that he denies the Holocaust — of course I’m not saying he does, but what I’m saying is he’s [a] very controversial figure.”

Davis called Fuentes a “good person,” and said that while she looked at his Wikipedia page before inviting him on one of her shows, she didn’t believe claims that he was antisemitic or racist.

“So I bring him on, I do this interview, and for months it’s like that is all anyone wanted to talk about — ‘You had him on. You had him on. You had him on,'” she said. “So then six months later I write a song that’s like why is everybody — why? And I get it. I get it. He has crazy opinions. I don’t — we even disagree on stuff.”

She added that “Nick derangement syndrome is a real thing.”

Stein also claimed that his association with Fuentes “cost me some opportunities with Turning Point USA” which he later “straightened out.” In 2022, Stein interviewed Fuentes on his podcast Conspiracy Castle, where he told his guest to stop using the N-word “even though it’s funny.”

Stein complained that can’t “associate with Nick because he’s too toxic,” and that if you like him it’s akin to a “scarlet letter right on your chest.” And while Stein pointed out that Fuentes has glorified Adolf Hitler in the past, he claimed that Fuentes was only “saying that to be edgy.”
