On Friday, Elijah Schaffer hosted a debate on diversity between Australian Neo-Nazi Joel Davis and Drew Pavlou — an Australian right-wing activist known for his criticism of the CCP. Davis, who appeared on Schaffer’s program last year, argued that diversity was a form of “white genocide” and that Australia’s nonwhite population should be ethnically cleansed.

One of the first questions posed by Elijah Schaffer was for Davis and Pavlou to define diversity in their own words. In response, Davis railed against racial diversity and praised early 20th century laws which banned and deported non-whites from Australia — referred to as the “White Australia policy.”

“Our country was founded by white nationalists,” Davis asserted.

“Every single founding father and the first 16 prime ministers of Australia — out of the 31 prime ministers we’ve ever had — they were all white nationalists. And they explicitly founded this place as a white nationalist state with something called the ‘White Australia policy,’ which wasn’t abolished completely until the 1970s.”

Davis explained that “being against diversity” was about “preserving the white man’s land” and “maintain[ing] white values.” Diversity, according to Davis, is part of a plot to destroy white countries which will result in the genocide of white people. “What it really means — what diversity really means is white genocide on a long enough timeline,” he said.

Davis went on to say that his ancestors “for thousands of years” fought wars, “engaged in settler-colonialism” to “build a new country,” and “pass[ed] that down” to him. “And I would be pissing in their face if I was to just allow it to be thrown away and not stand in opposition to what is happening to my people,” he said.

He added that even if he wanted to leave Australia due to the country’s racial diversity he would have “nowhere to go.” Davis claimed that everywhere white people were “previously the dominant culture” has been “systematically attacked” by an “anti-white agenda of forcing quote unquote ‘diversity'” and “replacing them with foreign cultures and peoples.”

“So I have nowhere to run,” he continued. “I’m forced to fight. If they didn’t want me to become so racist, if they didn’t want me to become so aggressive and hateful, they shouldn’t have taken away everywhere that I could run to. But that’s what they have done. And so they’re forcing me to fight. I’ve got nowhere to go.”

As Davis continued to rant — about his hypothetical grandchildren growing up as a “persecuted minority” and how he hates Indian people — his debate opponent, Drew Pavlou, shook his head in disagreement.

“I wanna have a country in which people like me are in charge,” Davis declared. “Where my culture is maintained. Where my way of life is maintained. And I want that to be passed down to my children. And I don’t care if I have to fight for it and some people have to get hurt if that’s what’s necessary. Because that’s the essence of human existence.”

“You use euphemisms because you’re talking about killing millions of people,” Pavlou countered.

“I don’t think we would — in Australia, if like say I became dictator tomorrow, I think me becoming dictator and going ‘You best be fuckin’ off,’ I think they would mostly leave. ‘You know what? I don’t wanna be here anymore,'” Davis said. “I don’t think we’d have to kill that many people, actually.”

“You would have to kill so many people. Your ideology is one of nihilism and bloodshed,” Pavlou replied.

“Fine,” said Davis, who compared the violent ethnic cleansing of an entire country to Ukrainians defending themselves from Russian invasion and Palestinians resisting Israeli occupation. “You can call me a terrorist if you want to. Defending your country from being taken away from you — I don’t care what you call me. That’s valid,” he insisted.

After the debate, listeners Schaffer read off audience questions and comments. One question, posed to Drew Pavlou, was if he could name a country that has “gotten better” with “nonwhite diversity.” And Schaffer himself followed up by asking Pavlou if Black people made America better or worse.

“[I’m not] saying there aren’t good Blacks that add to some good culture — I’d say the majority of the culture they create is degenerate,” Schaffer said. “But I’m asking you — but I know a lot of good Black people too. So I’m saying, like, overall would you say Black people made America better or would you say it made it worse?”

Pavlou said that Black people have always been “part of America” and that he likes “African-American culture” and music.

“We get it, you love niggers. We get it. Well done,” Davis interjected.

“You’re retarded,” Pavlou shot back.

“I’m retarded? Niggers are retarded. Have you seen these people?” Davis asked. “Have you seen the kind of music they create? Have you seen like the twerking culture?”

This, in turn, triggered a profane, slur-filled back-and-forth between Davis and Pavlou until Schaffer read the next question.
