Stew Peters Wonders Why The Military Hasn’t Started Shooting Migrants

On the Oct. 31 episode of The Stew Peters Show, white nationalist conspiracy theorist Stew Peters asked why the U.S. military wasn’t shooting migrants attempting to cross the southern border. Peters asked this question and called for the militarization of the border during an interview with Infowars contributor Dan Lyman.

“You know, when you have a military, it’s your military’s sole job to protect the borders of your country. And if somebody threatens to physically invade your country, you shoot them. Why isn’t our military down here shooting these people?” Peters asked, referring to undocumented migrants.

Lyman told Peters that “in times past that would have been viewed as a viable option, but apparently our military gets used these days to shoot people defending other nations’ borders from invaders.”

Lyman said that there’s “probably a good reason they love to send these fine men and women … overseas, far away from the issues here, that they would probably be far more useful at combatting.” Peters complained that U.S. soldiers get sent to “craphole countries thousands of miles away” in order to “spread democracy.”

Lyman replied that “spreading democracy” resulted in “destabilizing nations” which, in turn, leads to “large segments of their population” being sent “to our country.”

“And if they can’t get here on their own, then these international organizations or our governments will bring them in for them, and bring them to our countries. So I mean that’s what we’re looking at here. That’s my main concern really right now with the conflict in Gaza and Israel, is how many of these people are now gonna end up in Europe and the United States,” Lyman said.

He added that he was concerned about the “unrest in Panama” and the “destabilization” of Venezuela leading to their citizens entering the U.S. “And so we’re reaping the benefits of that as well, because now we have hardened Venezuelan gangbangers terrorizing local residents in cities across the United States,” he said.

“I’m curious because I respect your opinion — you’re very well involved with this — do you have a recommended solution for the American people?” Peters asked.

Lyman told Peters that, “The solutions now, unfortunately, probably are pretty ugly. I feel the same way about the United States as I do about Europe. … And so I think we are well past the time, unfortunately, for a peaceful solution because these people, even if you had the political will to remove them, will not go quietly.”

Lyman claimed that there are “tens and tens of millions of them at this point,” including “refugees, quote unquote,” and added that he doesn’t think they should be paid to leave.

Instead, he said “these people need to be loaded onto industrial-grade, military-grade transports, given bread and water for the duration of their journey, and returned to their homelands or anywhere else that is outside the borders of this nation.”

Peters then said that the border should be “militarize[d]” in order to “keep them out.”
