David Duke Denounces Menorahs As ‘Racist’ In Rant About Confederate Monuments

Nothing seems to have incensed David Duke as of late quite like the removal of monuments to the Confederacy — something which the ex-Klan leader considers an act of “ethnic cleansing.” Duke blamed the “Jewish-led and financed SPLC” for the “attack” on Confederate monuments.

And in Charlottesville, where white nationalists are planning to rally next month, Duke called out the “Jewish mayor” Michael Signer for his efforts to have such monuments removed.

“It’s so interesting because when you think about it, Mr. Signer — the Jewish mayor of Charlottesville — has no problem with the erection of Jewish menorahs on public ground,” Duke fumed, adding that the menorah is a symbol “of the Jewish terrorist revolt of the Maccabees and the massacre of Hanukkah against the Greeks and against Jews that assimilated with the Greeks.”

Duke ironically called the menorah a “racist symbol” and complained that Signer wasn’t “going over to Israel to tell them to take down statues of Jewish heroes and people who fought for Jewish interests.” Perhaps a more fitting comparison would be if someone in Israel erected a statue of Adolf Eichmann.

And why, exactly, are Jews and Jewish groups attempting to take down these statues? According to Duke it’s part of some Jewish-led world domination plot. If Jews “erase the white consciousness of white people,” he claimed, “it’s much more easier [sic], right, to achieve their Jewish domination and their Jewish will over us in society, because they have no organized opposition.”

Somewhere, William of Ockham is sobbing to himself.

Well this attack on liberty, on the monuments of the South — and, really, American heritage — which has been led in many ways by the Jewish-led and financed SPLC. Mr. Cohen is the head of it as I’ve talked about.

Another good example is typified by the Jewish mayor of historic Charlottesville, Virginia — great, old city of the Confederacy where tremendous historical significance — and he has pushed through the destruction, and pushing through the destruction of the Confederate monuments in that historic Southern town.

It’s so interesting because when you think about it, Mr. Signer — the Jewish mayor of Charlottesville — has no problem with the erection of Jewish menorahs on public ground. Which is a symbol, at Hanukkah, of the Jewish terrorist revolt of the Maccabees and the massacre of Hanukkah against the Greeks and against Jews that assimilated with the Greeks.

I mean it is actually a racist symbol. And it’s a symbol, right, of the Jewish people — [he] has no problem with menorahs and Hanukkah being celebrated in Charlottesville. But for God’s sake, let’s take out the monuments of the historical people of the area and their Southern heritage. You know, Mr. Signer is not going over to Israel to tell them to take down statues of Jewish heroes and people who fought for Jewish interests. So, this is what’s going on.

Now, they’re seeking to tear down these monuments. Their ultimate goal is to erase white history in America. Because you understand, the way the Jewish elite, the way the Jewish racists operate is they are a people that recognize their heritage, that fight for their own Jewish interests — they have thousands of organizations.

And if they erase the white consciousness of white people, the fact that we have common interests and common heritage, it’s much more easier [sic], right, to achieve their Jewish domination and their Jewish will over us in society, because they have no organized opposition.
