Trump-obsessed FemRA Janet Bloomfield, when last we saw her, was in the midst of a racist Twitter meltdown prompted by the release of Beyoncé’s Lemonade. She threatened critics with torture and murder, repeatedly referred to people as “faggots” and “feral thugs,” and made some bizarre claims about slavery.
Not content to seem only mildly racist, Bloomfield upped the ante by floating the idea of photographing herself in blackface. Now, it seems as if she’s at least tried to follow through on that, and the results are actually more (unintentionally) hilarious than offensive.
Here’s Bloomfield’s interpretation of blackface:
Instead of greasepaint, Bloomfield opted instead for a bad spray tan, ending up looking less like Al Jolson and more like her racist idol Donald Trump. Or a homophobic Oompa Loompa. Or a misogynistic bag of Cheetos. And in the baffling tradition of doubling down after doing something stupid or offensive, Bloomfield just dug her heels in, calling anyone who disagreed with her a “fag”:
Then she threatened to lynch someone:
Called black women “whores”:
Made more questionable comments about slavery and colonialism:
Linked black people with laziness, criminality, and poverty:
Defended blackface as totally not racist:
And then just moved on to overt racial slurs and general insults:
At least she can’t make things worse, right?
I take that back.
